About Us
Meet Our Cosmetic Dentistry Team
Dr. Mark G. Sayeg, DDS FAGD
|
|
 Dr.
Sayeg practices Complete Dental Care with an emphasis in esthetics and cosmetic
dentistry. He graduated from Emory Dental School in 1982 and for the past 29 years
has practiced in Sandy Springs, Georgia – just outside of Atlanta.
After completing his first cosmetic bonding case in 1983, Dr. Sayeg realized that
cosmetic dentistry had the power to change people’s lives. He realized early on
that dentistry was about ensuring dental health and making patient’s smiles beautiful
as well as functional.
Now with over 29 years of experience and over 2100 hours of continuing education,
Dr. Sayeg is proud of the commitment he makes to his patients – staying on the forefront
of modern dentistry and keeping current with the latest cosmetic dentistry procedures
and materials. In order to do this, he continually studies with the leading research
and development dentists in this country and from around the world.

 At
home you’ll often find Dr. Sayeg practicing arts other than dentistry. He enjoys
woodcarving, pottery, landscaping and pretty much anything that involves using his
hands and creativity.
He is also a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. His four grandchildren
will tell you he’s the best grandpa ever and you’ll often find him taking them to
the playground, Chuck E. Cheese for some games or out on the boat for a swim.

 Dr.
Sayeg believes in giving back to the community by providing dental care for those
in need. He works with the AACD’s Give Back A Smile program to help restore the smiles and
self-esteem for survivors of domestic violence. He has also started the charitable
program
Project Start Smiling which provides dental services not covered by government
programs to restore the smiles of children in the foster care system.
Dr Sayeg is also a leader in the field of cosmetic dentistry in the Atlanta area.
He was president of the Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for two years and
has fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry, International Academy of dental-Facial
Aesthetics, the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists.
He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, the American Society
of Dental Aesthetics, the American Dental Association and the Hinman Dental Society.

Tanya : Registered Dental Hygienist
With her gentle touch and eye for detail, Tanya excels at making your dental cleanings
not only comfortable but also enjoyable. Tanya grew up in Alexandria Bay, New York
– 5 minutes from the Canadian border and moved to Atlanta to join our cosmetic dentistry
team in 2002. She knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist as a child because she
loved going to the dentist and wanted to pass that love on to other patients. She
completes over 20 hours of continuing education a year to stay up-to-date on the
latest advances in oral health products, prevention of gum diseases, and techniques
for keeping your mouth clean and healthy. She is also our “in-house specialist”
on natural and homeopathic remedies.
Tanya lives in Lawrenceville with her husband Christian, who’s a professional chef
and her sons Brittan and TJ. They spend their days (and their nights!) running around
after these bundles of energy.

Kim : Registered Dental Hygienist
With over 15 years of periodontal specialty practice, Kim is an expert at keeping
your teeth and gums healthy and free of gum disease. For the past nine years, our
patients in our office have raved over the clean, fresh feeling after their appointments
and appreciated her gentle touch and caring manner. She is dedicated to staying
up-to date with the latest advances in dentistry and oral-health products and completes
over 20 hours per year of continuing education.
Kim lives in Johns Creek with her furry friends – she is quite an animal lover!
She is also quite an artist and enjoys painting and pottery – you might run into
her at one of the “paint-your-own” places around town.

Lory : Registered Dental Hygienist
Lory joined our team in 2007 after moving to Atlanta from California where she worked
in a cosmetic dental office very similar to ours. With over 15 years of dental office
experience, she is a master of putting you at ease with her sunny smile and will
keep you comfortable until you leave with one too! She takes over 20 hours of continuing
education per year – including advanced courses on periodontal disease treatments.
Lory lives in Roswell with her husband Jason and their daughter Addison. Keep an
eye out for them if you’re at the park or the restaurants around Historic Roswell!

Shinny : Certified Dental Assistant
Shinny originally joined our team in 2001 after relocating to Atlanta from New Orleans.
As our resident Cajun Queen, Shinny makes sure that our office is stocked and ready
for any dental procedure or emergency, fabricates your lab-work, and ensures that
all CDC and OSHA infection control procedures are being followed at all times. But
most importantly, she’s there to support you during your treatment visit and make
sure you leave with a smile!
Shinny loves being here enough to commute each day from Dacula where she lives with
her husband Karlton and their children Jamiree, and Harmoni. They love spending
time together as a family, watching movies, playing games and playing with their
dog.

Andrea : Certified Dental Assistant
Andrea recently joined our team and we are thrilled to have her. She is originally from Atlanta and has been a Dental Assistant for over ten years. Andrea shares our values of providing patients with the best care, keeping them comfortable and creating beautiful smiles. Always ready with a warm blanket during your treatment, or a moist towel to clean up with after your visit, Andrea will make your time in our office feel like a trip to the spa.
Andrea lives in College Park with her husband and two sons. She loves to travel and is often “camping out” with family and friends.

Rebecca : Patient Coordinator
Rebecca joined our team in 2006 but before that she had been a patient in our office
for over 12 years. So, we knew she would know exactly how patients in our office
should be treated! She is here to help you find a convenient appointment time and
answer questions about your care in our office. She will be happy to check on your
insurance benefits, handle your record transfers, send you your forms or give you
directions. Upon your request, she’ll also give you a call to remind you of your
appointments or call when you’re due for your next cleaning and exam.
You may see Rebecca running by the Chattahoochee River with her dog Jack after work
or on the weekends. She also likes to go hiking and enjoys traveling with her family
and friends.

Lorie Dunn : Financial Coordinator
With over twenty years of dental office experience, Lorie is an expert at navigating
patients through their dental treatment. Having grown up around dentistry as Dr.
Sayeg’s daughter, she can answer any questions regarding your treatment options,
insurance benefits, and payment plans. She stays up-to-date with the latest in dental
insurance coding so that she can maximize your benefits and keep your out0of-pocket
expenses as low as possible. She will always be happy to help you find a way to
fit any treatment you may need into your budget.
Lorie lives in Marietta with her husband Tom and their daughter Clara. They enjoy
traveling around the world and have been to five continents within the past five
years. In her spare time (ha!ha!), you may see Lorie on-stage at one of the many
theaters around town.
